Mission

The mission of our department is to provide quality education and training services, to train qualified and self-confident agricultural engineers (MSc), who produce knowledge and provide education at an international level in the field of agricultural biotechnology, who have interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding, by taking account of the developments in the world, the priorities and needs of our country, to carry out applied research with high added value and to be a department that develops advanced technologies.

Vision

By producing information and providing education at universal standards, the vision of our department is to train intellectual agricultural engineers who are qualified in terms of professional and general knowledge that Türkiye needs, who have knowledge of at least one foreign language, who are able to use that language in written and oral forms, who are open to innovations and whose ability of critical thinking is sufficient, who are sensitive to international problems besides the environment and the country he/she lives in, who follow the world and country issues and who have power of global thinking.
